A true leader and voice of young people living with HIV
Nicholas Niwagaba joined the Uganda Network of Young People Living with HIV in 2014 as peer educator. After three years he was appointed as executive director, which is his current position. Additionally, he is member of the Uganda AIDS Commission technical working group, the Global Fund, and various SRHR boards. His work has shaped him into a skilled advocate on matters of HIV, SRHR and human rights on both local and international level. Nicholas holds a degree in Social Work and Social Administration. A true leader and voice of young people living with HIV community!

UNYPA
Uganda Network of young people living with HIV & AIDS started in 2003 to provide leadership and coordinate the greater and meaningful involvement and participation of YPLHIV in Uganda in the national, regional and global HIV and AIDS response. UNYPA advocates improving the quality of life of young people living with HIV in Uganda and as a network. It promotes universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support; fights stigma and discrimination; and, promotes community involvement.
