Differentiated service delivery for adolescents
Differentiated service delivery for adolescents
Young people's lives are not orientated to attending health services, so health services need to be made more accessible and taken to places where adolescents are. It means giving adolescents choices and the possibility to make decisions about the healthcare. The Adolescent Treatment Coalition has produced four cartoon videos about differentiated service delivery for adolescents. They tell the stories of Jane from South Africa, Poon from Thailand, Namusoke from Uganda and Vincent from Brasil, who share challenges they face as an adolescent living with HIV and how differentiated service delivery can support them.
