This study is part of the Access, Service and Knowledge (ASK) Programme which aims at improving the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people, aged 10-24 years. A study has been conducted to understand why young mothers living with HIV don’t return their babies to health facilities after the first HIV test. Increasing knowledge and psychosocial support as well as overcoming practical barriers are recommendations from this study. This factsheet provides in short findings and recommendations.
