Online HIV prevention toolkit with and for young key populations launched

In the past months, Aidsfonds has been contributing to the development of an online toolkit on HIV prevention programmes with and for adolescent and young key populations. The toolkit is an online resource, presenting a range of tools, guidelines and other guidance documents that have been developed in a joint project of networks of key populations, civil society organizations, UN agencies and other stakeholders around the world.

The toolkit has been designed to help relevant in-country stakeholders to scale up HIV prevention programmes for adolescent and young people from key populations (aged 10-24 years) who sell sex, who are transgender or gender non-conforming, or who inject drugs, and adolescent and young males who have sex with other males, as well as adolescent and young migrants and refugees.

The resources have been organized in modules (resourcing, planning, M&E, advocacy, innovation, etc) and address a wide variety of interesting topics, that will assist in the different phases and aspects of programming. Discover the toolkit
