HLM Survey for Civil Society Organisations

HLM Survey for Civil Society Organisations

The United Nations General Assembly 2021 High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS (HLM) is an opportunity for us as a global community to review the progress on the political commitments made in the 2016 Political Declaration as we develop the 2021 Political Declaration.

The new Political Declaration will become the central global guiding document for the HIV response. As such, the declaration is critical in building and advancing the global support required to get us back on track. It is important that the new Political Declaration both reflects the current challenges and is underpinned by evidence of the global epidemiological situation.

The participation of the communities and organizations of people living with HIV, key populations, and other priority populations will be fundamental for the success of the HLM. Civil Society stakeholders are uniquely positioned to reflect on successes, best practices, lessons learned, obstacles and gaps, challenges, and opportunities, and make recommendations to guide and monitor the HIV response beyond 2021.

The Multistakeholder Task Force for the 2021 HLM would like to hear your voice for the development of a civil society statement with the recommendations of communities to the HLM and Political Declaration (take survey below). The responses to this survey are confidential and will only be used for the purpose of the HLM process. The closing date to submit your responses is Tuesday, 20th April 2021. This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
