Consultancy: Mapping Global Funding for Key Population HIV Programming
Aidsfonds, on behalf of the Love Alliance, seeks a consultant/consultant team to map global funding for Key Population HIV programming.
The successful candidate will have expertise carrying out funding studies and specific knowledge of the HIV/AIDS funding landscape. Consultants/ consultant teams should have experience working with Key Population communities. Consultants/ consultant teams who are members of Key Population communities, impacted by or living with HIV, and from Global Majority/ Global South are encouraged to apply.
This mapping follows a 2020 study to measure global funding for key populations that demonstrated only 2% of the money to address HIV goes to key populations, with even less of this going to community-led programming. The study was used by Aidsfonds and community groups to advocate with donors for increased funding. By repeating this study now, we will provide clear data to funders about what levels of funding are needed to fully fund HIV treatment and prevention for Key Population communities. We will also provide community groups with data and advocacy tools to use this data for their own funding and budget advocacy.
The application deadline is 19 November 2023, 11:59 pm CEST. The timeline is 1 January 2024 – 1 August 2024. And the budget is € 22,500 (excluding VAT).
