Call for proposals: South Africa, Mozambique & Zimbabwe

Love Alliance partner and grantmaker ARASA (Aids & Rights Alliance for South Africa) put out a call for proposals for organisations, based in Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe, that advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights for key populations.

Call for proposals

This call is for organisations and networks led by LGBTIQ+ people, sex workers, and people who use drugs, including people living with HIV and/or young key populations in Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe. ARASA specifically encourages organisations working with people who advocate for the development of national SRHR/HIV and human rights frameworks/policies/laws, affecting key populations. Joint advocacy initiatives and cross-movement collaboration are encouraged.  ARASA is looking for community-led organisations and consortia in Mozambique, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Make sure to apply before the 16th of December, 2022! A Question-and-Answer session on the call will be organised on 21 November 2022. You may register for this session using this link.

About the Love Alliance

The Love Alliance programme is based on an unwavering commitment to protecting, promoting and fulfilling sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) globally, unifying people who use drugs, sex workers and LGBTIQ+ movements, and amplifying the diversity of voices in these communities. Together, we advocate for adequate levels of funding and for taking truly human rights-based programmes to scale. We take this opportunity to prioritise and invest in challenging the structural barriers of underfunding, criminalisation and exclusion of us in all our diversity.
