Are you the enthusiastic, skilled and flexible consultant with monitoring, evaluation and learning expertise and excellent coordination skills Aidsfonds is looking for? Are you familiar with the theme of sex work and do you have a neutral attitude towards sex workers? Submit your application for the Hands Off programme consultancy no later than 21 February 2022.

Purpose of the mid-term review

The purpose of the mid-term review is to provide a participatory review of the programme. The focus will be on analysis and documentation of the progress of the Hands Off programme, as well as to provide recommendations to sharpen the strategic direction and operation for the remaining years.

About the Hands Off programme

Building on the success of the first phase of Hands Off, Hands Off 2 (2019-2024) works directly with sex worker-led groups, police and NGOs working on human rights and health services to reduce violence against sex workers.

Based on sex workers’ own priorities and needs, activities implemented under the programme include rights literacy training and capacity building of sex worker movements; strengthening emergency response systems; and roll out of national, regional and global lobby for law and policy reform.

Hands Off is implemented in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
