What are Aidsfonds' funding principles?
As an involved funder, we work together with communities, funders, researchers, and decision-makers. We invest in community-led, participatory approaches, and advocate for effective HIV-responses. Through co-decision making with the communities, we enable communities to decide on funding and programming, and we form strategic partnerships to maximise impact. We do this by providing longer-term, flexible and core funding. You can find more information about our funding principles on the participatory grantmaking page
Which regions or countries do you work in?
We work in regions hardest hit by the HIV epidemic and where the HIV epidemic continues to grow rapidly: Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Africa, Middle East & North Africa. For an overview of the countries we work in, have a look at the Where we work page
