Call for Proposals

Strengthening the HIV/AIDS response for key populations, including adolescent girls and young women, in two cities in Russia and the wider region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia

About the call

Aidsfonds and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance are pleased to announce the call for proposals for the PITCH programme in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Strengthening the HIV/AIDS response for key populations, including adolescent girls and young women, in two cities in Russia and the wider region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

We look forward to working with organisations that are innovative, creative and focused on key populations in two cities in the Russian Federation and the wider region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA). The objective is to strengthen political support among municipal level governments for effective HIV/AIDS response among key populations, including adolescent girls and young women. In particular with this call PITCH aims to support civil society organisations to effectively engage in municipal level HIV prevention and treatment response and jointly with the municipal government build political support for the population groups mentioned above.

The total available budget for this call for proposals is €600,000, which will support the proposed activities for two years (2019-2020). PITCH plans to work with a main partner organisation that is expected to work with several organisations in one or two cities collaborating with different key populations, including adolescent girls and women from the key populations as well as prisoners, to implement the scope of work outlined in the call for proposals.
